Communicate with Families & Staff
Explain the “why,” share survey insights, and preview expectations. Use our proactive parent communication guide for newsletter and social media prompts to build buy-in and share the facts before announcing that your school will be adopting The Commons. Download guide here
Send a letter out to your parent community announcing the adoption of The Commons to support your student cellphone policy. Template here

Integrate The Commons into your Student Cellphone Policy

Build Your Implementation Plan
Set rollout dates, develop a process, and clarify support channels.
Identify dates for your launch, student onboarding, and staff PD facilitated by The Commons.
Brainstorm ways you will onboard students to the app i.e. back to school week, homeroom, by grade in library, etc. We will discuss this during our onboarding call.

Prepare & Train
Schedule a technology intro meeting for your core Commons Team to learn how to use the Dashboard (at least 1 week before launch)
